Two ResMed Board Members Named “2018 Most Influential Corporate Directors” by WomenInc. Magazine
ResMed directors Carol J. Burt and Karen Drexler recognized as female leaders helping shape the future of America’s top companies

SAN DIEGO – November 20, 2018 – ResMed (NYSE: RMD, ASX: RMD), a leader in cloud-connected medical devices and out-of-hospital software-as-a-service (SaaS) business solutions, today announced that two of its board members, Carol J. Burt and Karen Drexler have been named to WomenInc. Magazine’s list of “2018 Most Influential Corporate Directors,” a list of women executives, influencers and achievers contributing leadership to corporate boards.

Burt has served on ResMed’s board since November 2013, is chair of its Audit Committee, and is principal of Burt-Hilliard Investments. She has more than 35 years of executive management experience in the healthcare, health insurance and financial service industries. Drexler has been a ResMed board director and Compensation Committee member since November 2017 and is CEO of Sandstone Diagnostics, Inc., a medical testing consumables company. Her executive management experience spans medical technology, data security, and out-of-hospital care models. Both have served on multiple boards in addition to ResMed’s.
