SAN DIEGO – May 16, 2017 – AirMini, the world’s smallest CPAP, begins arriving at U.S. home medical equipment (HME) providers this week, and the AirMini by ResMed app is now available to download in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play store.
AirMini combines ResMed’s clinically proven CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) technology and comfort features with a portable, pocket-sized design and on-the-go patient control. Along with the app, it also features waterless humidification, plus compatibility with ResMed’s AirFit N20 nasal, AirFit F20 and new AirTouch F20 full face masks, and a special AirMini version of the award-winning AirFit P10 nasal pillows mask.
The AirMini by ResMed app allows iPhone and Android users to change comfort settings and track their own night usage data, a practice that’s shown to increase compliance and health outcomes.
U.S. patients can contact their HME today about ordering an AirMini. It will also be available at initial launch in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, New Zealand, Spain and the United Kingdom, with other countries to follow.
